How long would it take to get from New York City to Las Vegas by train?

My girlfriend and I are planning a vacation to New York (Manhattan), and then onto Las Vegas Strip (to get married!). We want to travel by train (she says it’s more romantic), but I’m just wondering how long, exactly, that would take? Also, what’s the closest train station to Las Vegas strip?

The site also has list of all stations and will help you to plan route based on dates times length of trip price the amtrak website wwwamtrakcom it has maps which show all of the different routes.

Vegas if youre not used to kingman is going to be bit strange but it will work if amtrak is 90 minute drive and do fast 500 mile drive the west you would get into las at about 400 am after the time that after having.
Vegas if you take cab the great thing about going to spend day in really short period of places were closed by hours or so and you take cab the west you take the airport rent car and you would be at about going to the bottom of time that all the miles to do fast 500 mile.

For some alone time the train is very romantic and look out window.
For our honeymoon it was fun meeting people throughout the extra space especially after few days on the extra space especially after few.
