How does Las Vegas compare to the fast food industry?

In one of my classes we are required to read “Fast Food Nation” and then present through power point what we learned from our section. My section is a excerpt from “at the circus” part of chapter 10. One part said that Las Vegas was an ideal match for the fast food convention to be held. . . My question to you is how are they really similar to each other?
